Our vision is to be the forerunners in providing service, support and spiritual guidance to the female parishioners of the church and in the community and to be the symbol of uncompromising faith.
Mission
As members in the body of Christ, we the Deaconess Ministry of Beth Eden Baptist Church, realize that the Bible is our source of the truth through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are committed servants, dedicating our services unto the church and the community. We participate and support pother organizations within our church family. We commune with the Sick and Shut-in through our Pastoral Care and Visitation Ministry. We assist in resources involving the sensitive matters of female members. With the Bible as our reference and as the Holy Spirit leads us, we will continue to do God’s work.
History
A historical organization of the Baptist Church composed of women who are distinguished by the highest standards of spirituality and capable of offering active Christian leadership. Deaconess are the wives of Deacons and other women who meet the required qualifications of Christian conduct and stewardship, selected by the Deaconess Ministry and approved by the Pastor and the Board of Deacons. The Deaconess Ministry assists in the administering of the Ordinances of Baptism and certain duties related to Communion. They supply special nurturing ministries in the Church and the community.
