Our mission is to provide for the natural comfort of the membership.
To improve the decor of the church.
Provide comfort to the bereaved and assist in church planning.
Contribute to homeless shelters, food pantries and other charities.
Provide new bibles to those who join the church.
The Matrons has helped to improve the church by purchasing carpet, remodelling the kitchen, remodelling the ladies lounge and restroom, cleaning the cushions on pews, purchased thirteen tables for the Haynes Center, bought a new commercial refrigerator for the kitchen, two 3-seater chairs for the Lobby and East Chapel and had the Communion table re-stained and re-varnished.
In June, the Matrons sponsors a Flea Market fundraiser in the church parking lot. Members and non-members can purchase table(s) and sell their used or new goods--proceeds from purchasing a table is used for improvements to the church.
The Matrons meet the 2nd Sunday after 11:00a.m. service. The date is September through May (3rd Sundays only is there is a church event).
