Rev. Dr. Craig M. Jenkins serves as the esteemed pastor of Beth Eden Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois. A native of Albany, New York, he is the son of the late William and Daisy Jenkins. He is also the grandson and godson of revered pastors, Dr. David S. Craig and Dr. George L. Burns.
Dr. Jenkins is a highly educated leader with the following acdemic achievements:
- Bachelor of Arts - State University of New York at Albany - Albany, N.Y.
- Master of Education - Virginia Commonwealth University - Richmond, Va.
- Master of Divinity - Virginia Union University School of Theology - Richmond, Va.
- Doctor of Ministry - McCormick Theological Seminary - Chicago, Il.
Pastoral Experience & Ministry:
- Served for five years as pastor of Good Hopewell Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia.
- Has faithfully led Beth Eden Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois for over 39 years.
Dr. Jenkins' theological foundation is deeply rooted in John 3:17:
"For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
His ministry extends worldwide, having traveled to Pastor Jenkins has traveled to Ghana, Italy, Jamaica, Guyana, South Africa, Palestine, Israel, and Australia,where he has shared the message of Jesus Christ. He even had the unique opportunity to preach aboard a cruise ship on the Atlantic Ocean. Additionally, he has visited Amsterdam, London, Morocco, Canada, Mexico, Spain, the Virgin Islands Puerto Rico, and the Vatican.

Dr. Jenkins is married (51 years) to Dr. Sylvia Jenkins, President Emeritus of Moraine Valley Community College. Together, they are proud parents of four adult children, and grandparents to ten grandchildren.
